BONUS WORK DAY

Lucky a few of us had the extra day off on Friday to get ALOT of work done on the set. I have the fountain and the First of the rose windows done and ready for the forth of July parade float. PJ has tons of stone work done, the library is shaping up, much painting and general cleaning got done, more antlers have been made, the fun fur for Gaston’s chair has arrived and more costume fittings are happening all the time. I have posted more costume pics in the teen Beauty and the Beast gallery, be sure to check it often as I will be trying to get as many as I can as the kids model for us, off to bed now another long day on Saturday.

SO MANY CHALLENGES

It is late and I am very tired but I somehow have to find the energy to post some pics of the beautiful costumes that arrived today for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. wow, no Wow, no WOW!!!!!!, would be the best way to describe these absolutely gorgeous creations, the detailing and the fabrics are just beyond anything that I had imagined from seeing them on line. It was very hard to keep the kids out of them, well even the big kids , I was so excited to see each and everyone. When the majority of the cast left I promised a few of the principles that they could try on their costumes and see how everything was working, plus the photo op for the pics that follow. As expected they giant costumes are going to create a few problems for the blocking, dances and even the set may need some major alterations to accommodate these huge but fabulous pieces. It will all be well worth it though as is the huge price tag that comes along with all the razzle and dazzle but I know that this show is going to be one that Fremont and the area will be talking about for some time. Without further ramblings here are just a few cast members in their first fittings, everything is not quite right with all of their many pieces but it will give you an idea of what is in store, as the long weekend of tech and more fittings go on I will get more pics posted.
