Fremont Community Theatre and Director Randy J. Brown are pleased to present THE ADDAMS FAMILY: A New Musical, with Book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice; Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa, based on characters created by Charles Addams.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. FCT and Director Laura Buchanan are pleased to present THE GIVER, a short play based on the Newberry Award-winning book by Lois Lowry, adapted by Eric Coble.

Jonas’ world is perfect. Everything is under control and safe. There is no war or fear or pain. There are also no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the community. But when Jonas turns 12, he is chosen for special training from The Giver—to receive and keep the memories of the community.
