School of Rock’s audition information that the following characters have to have passable knowledge of the following instruments:

AUDITIONS:
Video auditions for musicians can be submitted by email beginning February 1, 2023 to agwatfct@yahoo.com & ehtwizard@gmail.com

February 12th
5-7 pm: Student Auditions
7-9 pm: Adult Auditions

February 13th
6-7 pm: NEW Student Auditions
7-8 pm: NEW Adult Auditions
8-9 pm: Callbacks

Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song for auditions.
There will be an accompanist available if you choose to bring sheet music.
If you choose to sing to a track you must have it downloaded to a track with your own
Bluetooth speaker as service inside the auditorium is unreliable.
Acapella and Happy Birthday is always acceptable.

Cast List will be announced no later than Friday, February 17, 2023

Adult Cast:
Dewey Finn- Onstage Guitar, Rock Tenor (25-40) A wannabe rock star with big dreams.

Rosalie Mullins- Soprano (30-40) Proper and a bit uptight, yet years to recapture the carefree spirit of her youth.

Ned Schneebly- Baritone (25-40) Dewey’s friend and roommate.  Used to be in

Dewey’s band but is now a substitute teacher.

Patty Di Marco-  Mezzo-Soprano Belt (25-40) Ned’s domineering girlfriend who also lives with Ned and Dewey

Adult Ensemble: No Vacancy Band – Theo, Doug, Bob, Snake                           

Teachers – Mr. Sanders, Ms. Gordon, Ms. Sheinkopf, Gabe Brown, Mr. Green,
Mr. Noble, Ms. Bingham, Mr. Woodward, Mr. Jones, Ms. Macapugay, Mr. Wagner

Parents – Mr. Sandford, Mr. Hamilton, Mr. Spencer, Mr. Williams, Mr. Mooneyham  

NOTE – Parents and Teachers can be double cast if needed

Youth Cast:
Summer Hathaway: Confident and outspoken.

Zack Mooneyham: Onstage Guitar Lead guitarist and talented songwriter who desperately wants to impress his father.

Tomika: Lead Vocalist The new girl show who conquers her shyness to reveal her phenomenal singing ability.

Lawrence: Onstage Piano/Keyboard Awkward and lacking confidence.  But by revealing he is a fantastic keyboardist he learns he is already “cool”.

Katie: Onstage Bass Guitar Quiet and Serious. 

Freddie Hamilton: Onstage Drums Loves a bit of rowdiness and noise.

Marcy & Shonelle: Quiet girls with angelic voices.

Mason: A technology whiz

Billy: Flamboyant and artistic with a passion for fashion.

James: Tough and reliable.

Sophie: Summer’s best friend and the band’s roadie.

Read through will be February 19 with rehearsal schedule being handed out that day.
