Fremont Community Youth Theatre is pleased to present the upcoming production of ALADDIN KIDS , based on the 1992 Disney film ALADDIN. All of your favorite characters from the hit Disney film – Aladdin, Jasmine, Iago, Jafar, the Genie, and many more – are here in Disney’s ALADDIN KIDS, a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem, and flying carpet rides.

Director Jodie Fleming and Musical Director Traci Newsome are leading a group of 38 area youth, aged 8-12, through a two-week theater camp to put on this amazing production in a  very short time period. In this 10-day, 30-hour camp, participants are learning the fundamentals of theatrical performance, including creating a character, vocal performance, movement on stage, improvisation, and more. Three  performances of ALADDIN KIDS  will showcase many of the skills learned. Performances are open to family, friends, and the general public.

Magic has also been added to this years camp!  Magician Floyd Collins is leading a Magic Camp each day following the theater camp. Participants are learning the fundamentals of magic and will perform their new magic skills at the start of each ALADDIN KIDS performance.

ALADDIN KIDS, with a magic pre-show will be presented on August 7-9, with special permission from Music Theatre International. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:00 p.m., with the Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m.
